Living Life as Gumby: Hypermobility in Pediatrics and Adults

Living Life as Gumby: Hypermobility in Pediatrics and Adults is an introductory class that looks at functional ways to identify and treat patients with hypermobility. This class is applicable for patients of all ages however dives in deeper for pediatric application. During this 8 hour class, participants will develop a better understanding of what hypermobility is, how it affects our patient's life and associated diagnoses such as Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and POTS. 

Class will also include quick and easy evaluation techniques to add into your current practice. Participants will explore a large amount interventions from sensory input to strengthening that are based on function and require little equipment. Learn how to create fun, effective exercises that make your patients want to participate! 

8 hour class that consists of lecture and lab.
